While the 2JZ (turbo version) is an amazing motor... it is a f'ing boat anchor. It's super long and heavy.

I would do a LS3 (or LS7 for big power) before I would do a 2JZ.

Too bad the CARB EO for the "E-rod" setup is only for ODB1 cars ;)

1JZ!!!!!

I don't understand why everybody keeps overlooking these motors. They're a few hundred more than an SR motor set and a few bolts ons and tune can get you into the 400whp mark. Unless you're trying be competitive or make over 600whp, I see no point in dishing out the money for a 2J swap.

If you're hell bent on a 2J, I'd find a 1J head and bolt it onto a 2J GTE block. You would have a 1.5JZ motor and people who have run them have great success with them. It's a great combo
