I realized that there are meets at SGV, Irvine and other areas, but during weekdays, it's pretty hard to drive that far in rush hour traffic. So I was wondering if anyone would like to meet up in West LA area for a cup of coffee and little chat? I am thinking Target parking lot on La Cienega and Rodeo, but open to suggestions. I haven't been out talking to FRS/BRZ owners in awhile and just want to chat! Let me know.

Depending on the day of the week I could show up.

Which area are you in exactly? I visit from time to time, and usually hang out in Brentwood.

I am at 10 and Fairfax area. Brentwood could be a possibility @WillRacer1jz what day is good for you?

Mondays and Wednesdays are good for me. I live in K-town 3rd & Western.

I work on La Cienega and 3rd st sounds like a plan.

Monday would be better... I go up to SoCal Valley 86 meet on wednesday nights.

considering everyone's whereabouts, I think the Whole Foods parking lot on Fairfax and 3rd would be a nice spot. Thoughts? Also, does Monday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. or later work for everyone? Let me know!

I cant do this Monday because the FRS is at the shop getting the turbo kit installed.

Will be able to attend the next one unless you guys are ok with me bringing the Supra.

Yeah no worries. Supra should be fine. I just realized that the parking lot is always pretty full. Any thoughts on other spots? I know the target lot that I initially suggested is pretty empty but it seems like people will need to drive farther.

well, aint that the problem with LA meets...
there usually aint one, because it's so hard to find a nice to place to park and chill without getting kicked out.

it would be really hard to find a location in 323 area... i can think of a place in downtown.. but i don't know how 'stable' it would be.

Do you guys want to chill in an open lot or closed lot

Total of 7 people showed up, some had to leave early, and some joined us later.
We got kicked out of Target parking lot, so we would need to find a new location quick.

No idea.
We were there for good 2-3 hours without any problem. Security guards passed by us few times and didn't say anything. Then out of no where, one of the security guards came by and said that his supervisor want us to move.

We asked why, but he just kept saying stuff about his supervisor.

While we were very quiet and didn't do anything to cause trouble, they just didn't like us there I guess.

Next week's location TBD.

I just found out about this thread..I work in Marina Del Ray but drive back to Hollywood (near north K-town) so I can definitely drop by. When and where's the next meet?

Just found out about this as well. I'm in Venice, would be down with meeting up some folks before I head back to the OC after work, traffic coming out of LA is crap.

Everyone in our area should just meet at Greystone Mansion in beverly hills during the day on a weekend. We can all drive up Coldwater canyon together from there and take Mullholland to Beverly Glen or further. We can then drive the canyon down to the Valley from there and grab a bite somewhere then drive back.

Greystone has tons of parking

you should organize for any upcoming weekends.
