dynosty

Just found out a local place to me specializes in FRS/BRZ. Pretty exciting news for me, on my old platform I was forced to mail the ECU back and forth anytime I needed to make changes. The fact they offer parts and service is pretty awesome news. Cant wait to check them out

if you check their online prices for aftermarket gear, it is some of the highest out there hands down www.frsmod.com. i.e. greddy evo 3 exhaust from dynosty $860 from circuit motorsports out of Orlando $774 I'm a pretty hard cor DIYer though if you need a shop to do thing for you then I'm sure Dynosty is good plus they do ECUtek stuff which is more rare than you think.

"Dynosty". How does one pronounce that?

Yeah labor they quoted me was 100/hr which is kinda high but when it comes to tuning I want to leave that part to the professionals. I am interested to see the short throw shifter they are working on. Internet price says 135 with rear bushing.

These guys were the first ones I saw put out a video showing their turbo FR-S doing more than sitting around.

It motivated me to consider this car more than a great handling car with no balls.

100 an hour isn't expensive. Shops in Va Beach charge 130-160 an hour easy. There is one "performance shop" here that charges 200 an hour. A dyno tune for an NA vehicle from them is 700 bucks, 1000 for forced induction.

There's a performance shop here that we all pretty much have to rely on that charges $108/hr and that's awful high for this area.

Regardless though, I met Dynosty guys in person at ZdayZ and they were pretty cool and I just bought a header for under retail price and under every other price that I've seen a few weeks ago from them. So far I can't complain.

I'm definitely going to them for my tuning Friday I'm gonna ride out and go check out the shop.

Dynosty treats me like I am VIP. DUSTIN and HAL both highly recommended. My retune for my header will be on NOV 12 get ready for 400whp

Old revival of this thread but just giving a follow up to a couple points above.

-We will always match or beat anyone's advertised price
-We apologize for the busy nature of our shop, we are a small operation and have 25-30 cars in the shop at any given time and we try to get to every phone call and email we can but the phrase "good help is hard to find" is one that plagues us. We hold ourselves to the highest standards on quality and so not just anyone can jump in and help. So at times it does take us a while to get back to emails and phone calls and we apologize for that.
- pronunciation is : dy·nas·ty like Duck Dynasty, we just spell it with an "o" as a play on words with the word "dyno", I know I know, higher level thinking, sorry to confuse ;)
http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/p...ritish/dynasty# (the US version)

But thanks very much to all that support us and for the kind words above.

Dynosty is a legit, high quality shop, established from way before the FRS was even a concept and proven in many other platforms.
