Photos of new MXP equal and unequal length header + overpipe

We just received our first shipment of the new MXP SUS304 equal length and unequal length headers. These headers also include a matching overpipe. This header carries a 2 year warranty.

MSRP $762.00

A lot of people have a hard time selecting which style to get, here is how I try to make my recommendation:

1. Equal Length
  • Makes most power
  • Sounds closer to factory sound (but louder
2. Unequal length
  • Sounds like a WRX/STI
  • Does not make as much gains as equal length at expense of exhaust note

Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Dyno's?

Sound clips?

Ruler across the connection points to show no quality issues such as borla?

Kinda need both of those for a header :)

Careful with that EL vs UEL power claim. There's some pretty powerful UEL's on the market already and so far the difference between both have not been huge as most of the tests have been done on NA cars.

Like said above, a dyno of both would be great!

Warranty come with it? I'm always weary of it cracking in high heat which is why I am a fan of the flex joints.

These do look great though. Nice to see more options come to the market.

hmmm it has my interest.. I wanna hear how they sound. I miss having a header

As far as dyno's go MXP has not supplied me with any yet, no sound clips either, although I would imagine similar sound to the other market offerings.

If anyone is interested in doing a review/dyno of either style shoot me a PM and I will give a discount for this.

Our car has a turbo kit on it, so we cannot do the review ourselves.

Why are you reviving an old thread when the information is readily available on their web site?
