Hey guys I have a awesome offer from a guy who has an injen intake but am seeing all these awful posts about bogging and idle issue with this particular intake. Anyone have personal experience?? Thanks! To add I do have a unichip if that makes a diff

Please use the search there are tons of threads/discussiosn that have beaten this topic to death. If you have a tune you have nothing to worry about but please use the search function before making a post like this.

i'm fine with my injen intake

Been reading alot of different discussions as well, I have had mine for about a month now, completely zero issues. Some others have found that the welding on the interior looks like a practice weld project which lead to the CEL and bogging issues. The intake gives a nice roar above 3000 rpms / WOT. Hopefully that helps!

I have one as well that I installed in July. No problems whatsoever with this intake on my car.

My best guess is that if people are having problems with this air intake perhaps they did something to the MAS sensor. Just a guess.....

Keep your stock box. Its been proven intakes do nothing for the car.

False look at dsport magazines frs intake shoot out which showed all DYNO results for available intakes at the time Aswell as pricing they do make gains over stock airbox even with a drop in filter just minimal

My post should have read the stock box with a drop in filter is better then spending 200-300$ on an intake that will net no useable gains(Mostly only @ peak RPMS)

^ this agreed it is the more logical choice an full system over just a drop in is literally 2-3 horse difference and a full intake is anywhere from $250-450 more than just a drop in however there is a small benefit now is it worth it? Depends who you are talking to to me yes because you also have the added cosmetics of the intake over a stock air box

The stock air box seems completely sufficient to handle the airflow. Better ducting is available and filter replacement have proven via dsport as reference to give you gains that are comparable or better than a intake system. Better ducting and filters will open it up for at least 5whp and with a tune maybe more. Honestly the decision falls on sound more than hp and feel.
