Third brake light doesnt work?
 

Noticed my third brake light is out today. Took a look and there is no power going to the light and powering the light manually does nothing. The fuse is the same as the normal brake lights so thats not an issue.

Anyone else have this problem? I also noticed the brake light assembly is all one piece with the rear shelf, awesome design :thumbdown:

I will try and call the dealer but Im sure my local one will take a week looking at the car and only deny my claim because of mods.

The braket light assembly isn't one piece at all. It comes right out very easily for replacement. Not sure how you manually powered the light, but if you didn't check the plug you may start there.

As I recall, the wire is within the trunk. And how to remove the light is here:

wiring is in the trunk yes, manual powering means a 12v power probe plugged into the leads coming out of the light
