HOLE in my exhaust!!?

2 Attachment(s)
So as I was cleaning my car, I wanted to check the undercarriage to see if anything looked out of place. I very briefly scanned my exhaust pipes and notice a small hole:cry:!! If I were to guess, I would say the hole would be the size of a safety pin. I'm wondering if this will hurt me sooner or later.

Anything I can t do to patch it or fix it? What do you guys think?

Exhaust: invidia N1 catback

Not a huge issue you can always get the local muffler shop to touch up the welding a bit.

Not a big deal, as stated find about any local muffler shop and they'll be able to fix it.

Put a bubble gum on it just like the rocketeer movie. Hahah joke! :)

Yeah thats an easy fix

Is the hole through the pipe? If not I'd just fill it with JB Weld and be done with it. If it's through it's gonna have to be ground-out and rewelded as a hole in the exhaust is potentially dangerous. Not only that, it could lead to further corrosion.

or you can try exhaust sealant selling @ auto part. it's really small hole so it should work

I would send some pictures to invidia and see what they have to say, first.

Although for the work involved on a replacement I think you may find a simple exhaust leak fix at a local auto parts store or JB weld may do the job just fine.

I would be more concerned if it was nearest the engine like on the exhaust manifold.

this would be a warranty issue and invidia should replace it for you. but if you don't want to go through the trouble of removing the header then just have a muffler shop or any one with a welder plug the hole. just know that once you do this your warranty is out the door.

If it's not actually leaking I wouldn't even sweat it. If it is, I still probably wouldn't sweat it.
