$225 Catted Front Pipe from Berk Technology
 

Just a PSA in case anyone has been hunting for a high flow cat from a decent company:

I have one. Gets the job done and the quality is decent. Then again, I don't care who stamps their name on a piece of bent metal under the car or how it looks as long as it holds up.

No audible sound difference, but I have a turbo and the stock muffler. As this is the only cat on my car, slight smell to the exhaust.

Give me about a week or two. It seems a lot of people haven't had issue with other Berk parts so I presume it will be the same with this.

I got a question would I be able to use this or any front pipe with my SRT headerback exhaust, since I do wanna get headers as well and don't want my exhaust to be too loud.

From the 370z, to the civic parts, to FRS/BRZ parts, Berk has always fit perfectly and had the best customer service!

They will back their products to the end!

I have the SRT as well and I think those of us that went with the headerback may be kind of stuck modifying the SRT front pipe and/or mid pipe. SRT uses slips joints and band clamps (I think that's what they are called) so we would need to either have a cat welded into our front pipe, or have the midpipe cut and a flange welded on. I'm considering my options as well. I am very curious to hear what the SRT sounds like paired with an UEL header so I may keep mine until I get one, but don't want to be catless for a DD. Plus, I can only imagine how loud it will be.

Sweet thanks will keep an eye on your build, I was also looking at headers as well and don't want to be waking up the neighbors when I come back at night time.

I'm using this as the only cat in my exhaust setup. Gets the job done with no frills and would flow as well as Perrin or any other catted front pipe, except for Nameless, that's an odd one out.

I also only have one cat on the car and I cannot drive around with the windows open due to the smell. It is amazing how exhaust fumes exiting behind the car can get sucked into the cabin at speed...

Thinking about adding another cat...

does anyone know / measured if the 2.5" is ID or OD?

Have it on my ride... High Flow Cat hasn't blown out yet so I'm sure it will stay...

i have this on my car. works great. looks fine. bolted up perfectly and the fitment to my perrin cbe and stock op is great.
