Although factory door handles are really sleek on these cars we filled that area for a more sleek appearance
http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...pseead9799.jpg It was very interesting to see howw these cars are built. Its amazing the amount of aluminum used for EVERTHING. the only exeptions were the steel reinforcements on the b -pillars. http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psf0dfc709.jpg This contour took some time to establish the proper line, it would look completely different depending on which angle you looked at it. The 3 rectangles channels on the rocker are factory http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psbfdb869c.jpg http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps0df0f08c.jpg We used factory front hubs to mount wheels, which dont support any weight, they barely touch the ground http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps56a2a40e.jpg The interior panels were fabbed from fiberglass http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps0077507f.jpg Some wiring and fitting before delivery........... http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps391113af.jpg Midnight day of delivery.... http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps96173ebc.jpg I thought someone said this was going to fit through the door no problem! http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psb8a36b1b.jpg After complete dissasembly, reassembly begins........ http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psd6adb87e.jpg http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps44589db6.jpg http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps64714c90.jpg http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdd5c3231.jpg http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps622d02bf.jpg http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps5a2dc0c4.jpg http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psbd0e6923.jpg And thats our 6 week Tesla build (the next thread will be of a running car, probably a Camaro, I promise!) |

That's pretty bad ass. Kudos to the guys in charge of doing that build, damn!

still classier than an Aztec

Good thing that wheel and tire has been balanced. Desk might have some wobble at 80mph otherwise. :D

I suppose it's nice if you can write off the entire expense. I'm a put a piece a plywood on my lap in my FR-S and write it off too... |
