Clear or smoked side markers?

Exactly what the title says lol! I can't make up my mind between the two. I have a SWP FR-S so which one would look best on her?

The reason I get clear is because it blends in the best. Smoke will kind of stick out. I like the clean look much more

I went with smoked because it blended well with the GBS color

Depending on your theme there is one that goes good with it. If you have a lighter theme then clear, but if you have darker theme like black wheels, blacked headlight housing etc then smoked

Sniper2606 10-10-2013 02:15 AM

Or you can go fancy with these

Cool, I get what you're saying! Alright so I'm looking to grab some bronze Rotas for my whiteout 86. Which side marker would be best? Lol

I'd go clear on white. Exactly what they said above. Makes them disapear vs. standing out like the smoke markers do. I went through the same debate and came to the conclusion that your side markers should NOT be a standout feature.

On the other hand if I had DGM or some other darker colors I would for sure go with smoke.

Clear is way more popular. I think it looks better as well. Waiting on mine from the group buy :)

Does anyone know if technically the bulb in there has to be yellow. For whatever reason, the regional PD loves to hassle the local tuners about obscure regulations like that.

Wasn't sure if it was a state (PA) thing or not. Been hassled about side markers, turn signals, etc. in the past.
