The technical term for those bars at most oems is actually "grip handles"... But eerr body calls them o'sh!t bars anyway.

Of course it's ugly, you can't exactly make a cool looking coat hanger. Also, it appears as though you can take it off in less then 30 seconds (remove headrest, slide hanger on, replace headrest), so who cares if you're only gonna use it when there is a coat on it?

I gave the guy a thank you for coming with the first viable solution but just said its too ugly for me to want to put in my car and constantly take on and off...dont see what's so hard to understand about that.

The point of this forum is to get people's ideas and solutions to problems and see if you like them...the first solution presented isn't the only possible solution
