2 lighting questions, interior

First of all I am assuming these threads exist so feel free to say your an idiot use the search blah blah, but I looked and I am not even sure what these are technically called. So hopefully with my description you can figure out what the hell I want to accomplish here.
First I want to know if there is a DIY on how to make the red ring around the key hole/ignition(not key fob), stay on all the time while driving. I think that red ring looks awesome and its a shame that it turns off when the car is on and all the doors are shut, or is it when the car is on and the ebrake is off? Im also unsure if it is different for at/mt ( have an mt).

Second I would love to see a DIY and if anyone sells a kit in order to make the bottom interior door reflectors functional flood lights. I've definitely seen this mod done before but not sure what its called. Im assuming its an led strip that would go in the door panel underneath the red reflectors, and then the wiring would hook into...? idk. I just hate how when I open the doors at night those reflectors don't light up, I would love to you know, actually see if I'm about to step into dog sh86t or mud or whatever.

any links you can provide to existing threads about these topics, or any info at all would be much appreciated!

I don't have any solutions to your red ring inquiry, however, we do have mirror covers that have puddle lamps built in that will prevent you from stepping in poo and other things at night

PM me if you need more information
