Getting a Prado or Forester tomorrow

Hey all!

I've been wanting a nice 4WD for a while. Been looking for ages. Finally decided on a Prado or Forester

I'm really excited for this, I can finally go 4WD and have a practical car and something to fit family in. :happyanim:

I'll try take some pics.

P.S
Maybe a Pajero? XD

Getting ready to pick up a Forester! Had a lot of Toyotas, Fords, Mitsubishis... It is Subaru's turn now!

Forester's are cool. A little quirky, but that is what makes a Subaru a Subaru.. The question is turbo or no turbo??

Love the Forester, good choice! Been trying to get my wife to trade in her CR-V for one.

I got a turbo. Now with no scoop it's not a rice 4WD, it's not saying "Hey look at me, I have a turbo!" which is pretty good. I also got a whole bunch of other accessories.

Yeah Toyota IS pretty much Lexus, so they most likely decided to make a Lexus version of the Prado so then it looks like an expensive luxurious car. And also basically just for their customers to be able to say they own an "expensive, luxurious Lexus".

The Turbo Foresters are quite fast. I have not driven the latest model, but have driven the previous model and you will definitely surprise people. I also like the scoop as well.

Congrats! I would love to trade in our Odyssey minivan for a Forester turbo, but with three kids and lots of stuff to haul, not going to happen....

I'm pretty sure this is the other way around. The GX was introduced as a Lexus first.

I know here in the states you can get an LX570 for like $8k more than a Land Cruiser. I think if you have the money to buy one, then you would have no problem paying $8k more to have the Lexus.

We got a Forester too. Non-turbo. Fine car. Nothing exciting, but a fine car. Most importantly, it's wonderfully safe. For a small offset crash, it's the safest car in its class by a large amount.
