So I messed up my side door...
 

I was an idiot and ran into a parking deck pole backing out of a spot. I brought it to a body shop and the guy said he could repair it without having to replace the door. I have a dark grey BRZ, and was wondering if the paint would be hard to match. That way I would probably have to go with a more expensive option and replace instead of repair.

If you replace they will still have to paint the new door so....

A good shop will blend it with the adjacent panels. You shouldn't be able to notice.

More important than how big or nice the shop might be is the man doing the work. Be sure you have some favorable recommendations before you give a shop your car and 'hope' they do a good job.
