I witnessed your salesman putting 87 octane and filling it up at that. Sorry dude, or chick buying it.... Can't trust damn dealerships.

The car will survive 87 octane just fine. The first 300 miles are just to set the rings anyways, you shouldn't be doing WOT and hard gear shift changes in the upper RPM range anyways. I would always recommend you never trust a dealer and fill up the tank once it gets half empty with some good 93 octane.
