I sure will once I get everything installed  as I did with my previous cars and unless the FA20 engine is very different

everyone who I know benefited from installing the radiator (even NA) at the track..and since I plan to use the OEM oil cooler (and if doesn't provide adequate enough cooling step up to some other thermostatic oil cooler) I strongly believe it will help keep the temps under control..

we'll see :)

The radiator is well placed and designed from the factory. The more important issue is the oil. I doubt anybody can match the level of tracking and stress testing we have done on this platform yet. Our findings are well documented and validated.

When it comes to good documentation I suck :bonk: (missing spreadsheets, dead gopro cam batteries...lol) but I will do my best... also, I believe you guys run bigger oil cooler (perrin or equivalent if not mistaken) ..maybe that is your answer right there

The oil cooler we run is bigger than the Perrin. This I can validate as well. :)

Oil cooler is more important than radiator. Water temperature is relatively stable compared to the oil temperature. Ask us how we know. :)

Well I went 3" "fence pipe" from the OP back. So one cat is deleted and nothing to resonate/muffle sound... I hardly hear the blower whine now, lol. Going to roll this way for a couple weeks. ^_^

Nice Omar! How loud is it? Is it livable?

I'm going to have 3" from the headers back by Tuesday. I've had the Tomei 80 for a month but been waiting on JDL to fab up my FP & OP. I did have them add a resonator to the FP.

Lol it's livable for the next week of so. Likely going to stick a 24-28" resonator into the mid section or maybe small mufflers before each exit.

* It's livable... For a racecar.

Mine was livable till the header and blower, now at 70ish on the highway it's fine but as soon as I hit the 80 mark it's just so freaking loud I have to turn the stereo up loud to even compete. I'm gonna have to do something for sure. I still need to try and get a resonator in to see if that helps but I think my plans for removing the second cat are out the window.

may the schwartz be with you....

I saw somebody installing a catch can on the JRSC owner's thread. Has anybody done the same thing on this kit? Since I'm new to FI I'm still not really sure what a catch can actually does - protect the intake manifold from residual oil (?).

Update: I guess a little Googling helped answer some of my questions (http://www.radiumauto.com/Catch-Can-...Z-86-P374.aspx), but has anybody installed one with this kit?

I wonder why you guys want to get 3" exhausts.. I figured 2.5" should be enough for KW and c30-94 and even with the turbo cars the 3" exhausts becomes necessary at around 400 whp AFAIK..

am I missing something? :)

Why buy twice when you can buy once when you plan for the future? My car is my toy not my DD, so planning for my goal (which ironically you hit right on the head, 400whp) seems logical rather than spending money on the short term. But some people have more money to blow than others so buying twice isn't an annoyance.

I understand but is there any evidence that supports a 3" exhaust with SC kits yield better results (hp, reduced heat etc)?

This has been debated for years and some people claim too large of an exhaust (for SC not for a turbo application of course) even hurts the low end torque.

Since the Rotrex kits in general makes a lot more power up top and lacks some low end power -as opposed to positive displacement SC s- I always thought it would be more beneficial to keep the low end TQ in expense to lose some top end (after 7200 rpm !!) and of course if it makes any difference
