Idk about you all but I can sometimes hear the bypass valve open up top...I don't think it's supposed to do that

Also as a little teaser for you guys I asked him to throw in the E85 graph overlaid with hp/tq and boost plot as well. |

Hopefully just attaching the file works. One is just my dyno and the second is overlayed with the Jackson kit, same dyno, same tuner, almost the same miss minus a high flow cat on his.[ATTACH]7193[ATTACH]71934

My mods are , Greddy Evo 3 cat back , Borla uel header , Exedy stage 2 clutch , upgrade , fuel pump , Tuner On point Dyno ,
Car on intail install had no boost leaks , or dips in dyno , car on second dyno showed the dip/ boost leak , system was checked more than once , KW R & D was contacted and they advised that they had the same issue with , there BRZ that they have that they would send me the dyno / data / logs still waiting and still havent gotten an answer , my tuner belives that there might be some internal slipage at that rpm range . Just kind of strange , that more than one of us with this kit has the same kind of issue . So I will wait for KW to get back to me , I am in the works on installing a meth kit aswell shortly :) just to make sure , plus a boost gauge to watch the boost issue if it stays at 1.5 psi then I wont worry to much at this point . |

Here are my results. Please keep in mind that this particular dyno has a 17% lower reading than the average Dynojet. Bill's car made 201whp stock on E85 on DSport's dynojet and just hours later made 166whp on this dyno. With that said, here you go. I'll work on getting boost plots, but it looks to me like the dip at the top on 91 is not due to boost leak, as it's fine on E85. The reason it dips and cuts short on E85 is from clutch slip.
http://i58.tinypic.com/2vaksno.jpg 91 Octane. http://i60.tinypic.com/34qofuq.jpg Unfinished E85 Tune. The dip at the top is where the stock clutch starts slipping. We had to cut the dyno run short due to this, but it is my firm belief that with a new clutch the power will keep climbing straight to redline. |

Kraftwerks told me the reason why the new tune they sent me didn't idle was because I didn't have the right MAP sensor so they sent me this nice new red MAP sensor. It got to me the next day and just installed it with the new "factory" Skunk2 tune file they had previously sent.
I'm happy to say that it drives a lot smoother around town in the short test drive I took. Looking forward to see how it performs at WOT later on tonight. Very happy with how Kwaftwerks responded to my input here even though it took a little time. Attachment 72252 |
