Can anyone give me some feedback on this log, the Dyno guy stopped the pull because he thought it was too lean, i took his word since i don't have a lot of knowledge on tuning and end the dyno session. It was on Delicious tuning e85 map.

I was going to put two more brackets on the bottom of the cooler, but I literally burned out my Dewalt drill putting holes in that beam. It's still very secure though.
Next stop is a shop that can cut out my grill and mustache and replace it with a custom grill so I can get some air flow to the oil cooler.

well im no expert but it seems that he was shifting through gears or letting off throttle alot. when he gives it gas the afr went done to around 12ish but when he left off it went lean which is normal. i wouldnt say it was ideal but i cant say its way lean when actually on throttle, plus its e85 and its hard a shat to make it detonate hell @marin was leaner then that and lasted 12k. but he is a tuner and can shed more light then I.

I can barely do 300 miles on N/A with my bolt ons, and tune. I usually hit 280-290. I'd say you're doing fine.

This is also with keeping shifts under 3k.

it all depends on the tune and how heavy your foot is.

@KraftWerks : Just wanted to let you know I just finished up a C38 install into my FR-S and I had a fitment issue with the front bumper and the molded charge pipe. I had to remove the side air dams in the front bumper but the charge pipes still push the bumper too far out to fit properly, and the molded charge tube doesn't line up perfectly. Also, I had to remove an unused tab from the bottom of passenger side headlight housing. Other than that it was a pretty easy install.

Sometimes my gas light comes on shortly after passing 200 miles on the tank. But this is only when I'm doing 100% city driving - worst tank with the KW SC has been about 18mpg. Best tank with near 100% hwy driving with SC is around 24.5mpg.

you should be able to get 30+ mpg on highway driving easily, I am not really good at getting good gas mileage and with the aggressive throttle mapping and 65 mph on a long trip I averaged around 33-34 mpg

before the aggressive throttle mapping my average at 70-75 mph was 31 mpg and that's with R compounds :)

not sure about the mpg figure on that but I think I can easily pass 300 miles on highway only of course

it's a bit low imo, but it all depends how you drive your car I don't drive my car like a grandma but not like an asshat in public roads too..in the city I generally average 24-25 mpg combined and if it is generally highway use it should be easily 28-30+ mpg for longer trips see above pictures :)

i get 300kms to the tank now :( on the Kraftwerks tune. need to get it tuned to 94 octane soon. there are some kinks i need to work out. like my whirring noise, and the throttle dip under 2k rpm.

are you referring to the BPV noise? because I get the same noise and it's normal with Cold air intake and BPV, if you have a leak though that's different

The bpv noise I'm pretty sure I know what it is. That's loud. It's there when ur just cruising around 4k rpm. But once u give iT some throttle it's gone. I'm boosting fine around 9psi according to my gauge and afr is fine. I'm gonna mount my gopro under the hood and drive around to see if I can record it :)

Thanks for the answer guys !! Just wanted to know if I were in the good range !!

On the HW i'm getting 6.2L/100 km... Same as last year without the kit...

NCItaly 06-17-2014 08:23 PM

I'm at 19.6 mpg right now... I have a heavy foot...
