one more question, what gauges are you using? i bought a cheap GlowShift on amazon and the T fitting supplied with the restrictive fitting won't fit their own supplied hose... so i used a different T fitting and since there's no restrictor, im getting -20 to 15 PSI readings... with the C30... any suggestions?

I don't understand the need for the boost gauge :) since the boost is limited with pulley size you shouldn't be able to overboost or anything like in turbocharged cars, am I missing something? as opposed to turbocharged cars boost level should be pretty consistent and shouldn't be affected by the temperature etc..
as long as you are hitting the target boost (which can be seen with a simple Torque app) I think you should be fine .. if the accuracy of the boost readings via OBS is questionable, I don't know |

Exactly just knowing there is a boost leak can save you from having bigger issues
may the schwartz be with you.... |
Wideband is a better indicator of malfunction with an SC setup. You'll immediately know if you have a major boost leak since power will be down, but you'll be able to find the smaller leaks by seeing a change in the top end AFR....those you may never feel or the SC may be able to still boost normally with.

I've been getting ready for my own install and reviewing all the docs available while I wait for my package to arrive. I have been reading this thread and the amount and quality of info here is invaluable.

As I understand it, it's not so imperative as the rotation of the crank tightens that bolt anyway

And re. the sticky, is that a concern given that the pulley is not coming out? |

Are you guys running 0w-20 after supercharging for your daily drive? Not looking to get into an oil debate, but just wondering if that weight will suffice for DD and a little spirited driving or should I bump up to a bit heavier weight? I've got an oil change up coming up soon.
