Nameless Over/down pipe?

So ive looked and searched all around and couldnt find anything. i recently just got mine with a cat. however it doesnt seem to fit. I asked around and some people say i need to take a bolt off and jack up my engine? Can i do this on the ground? all i have is a ground jack and some jackstands. I got the factory pipes out by removing the heat shields and twisting it out. but the nameless single set up is too long.

Any ideas? does anyone have a diy on taking the engine mount/bolt out to jack it up?

Thanks guys!:thanks:

unbolt the bolt of the motor mount on the passenger side and push your motor up while insering your nameless downpipe

You have to jack the motor...

What he said, you have to do this or you'll have one hell of a time getting it under the block to the header. Once you raise it, it is the easiest thing to put in place.

Use Perrin's OP replacement instructions.

Here:

click on the support tab and download the PDF.

It pretty much tells you what everyone else said but in a nice shiny PDF.

i installed mine by lifting up the engine. it took me an hour from start to finish, and im on floor jack and jack stands. sounds amazing with my borla cat back btw
check on youtube their a really good installation video.

I installed mine (with down pipe & resonator) using jack stands. The car has to be raised a lot as the pipe is very long and needs a considerable angle to come in. If I remember correctly my jackstands were at notch 4 or 5 if not higher. Trust me - you will want to extra room to work. I used the cars scissor jack to raise the engine and put a piece of wood on it to distribute the weight evenly on the oil pan. You will need to raise the engine just enough so the bolt doesn't come out of the frame rail. Afterwards, you can fit the pipe by wiggling it and turning it.

Does anyone know if these will fit a RHD 86?

Do NOT raise over a couple inches, the nameless website tells you this

The factory fit one does, not the one that replaces the overpipe.
