Just installed Perrin 3" - 100% happy customer!

It sounds amazing, startup, idle, throttle... with windows closed it is certainly not loud inside the cabin.

100% happy with the purchase.

Front pipe is still stock.. I went with 3 mostly to allow for future front end mods if I eventually want to boost it etc.

If it's bolted up to the stock front pipe then it sounds like it's not a "true" full 3" system (As it would have to stepdown from 3"-2.5 or 2.25" in order to mate to the oem front pipe.), no? I wonder how much of a restriction that stepdown will be down the line when you decide to add boost.

Our exhaust is 3" all the way through. The stock flange bolt is wide enough to mate up to our 3" flange and exhaust.

My assumption is, that when he does add boost, that he will change out the stock front pipe and make it a full 3" system.

Thanks for the clarification, that's what I was looking for.

Thanks, this is correct!
