lowered FRS advice

ordered on my first new set of wheels
Miro type 111s,
18x18.5in +35 offset square setup.
wrapped most likely in 235/40/18 sized tires

Planning to lower the car on springs at the same time when I have these installed. I'm debating how low I want to go and looking for anyone in the area for opinions / experience.

The eibach prokits brings me back slightly lower than stock with the 18in wheels. (about .5in lower)
I want to go with the eibach sportlines for a more noticeable drop.

My FRS sees brooklyn / city / staten island roads primarily. rocky shitty roads, constantly under construction highways, and many unexpected not ideal road conditions.

I just don't want to go too low and constantly rub antyhing or hit my bump stops. Want to make sure my springs have enough travel before my wheel rubs anything. hoping the eibach sportlines does this for me.

Anyone with any experience with a similar setup? am i just over thinking it? I don't think I've seen the setup in person so its harder to visualize in my head, so looking for advice from anyone that drives around NYC.

made a visual for myself to compare where my wheel would sit in both scenarios:

My bad if the topics been beaten to death, havent found anything.

if you do the sportlines be sure to get some konis to go along with them. Especially for that neck of the neighborhood

Go look at my build thread, I am on miro 111s and sportlines. I went with 8.5 front 9.5 rear and it is perfectly flush. The PA roads are as bad as NYC (lived in nyc for 6 years) so you will be fine on sportlines. All info is in my thread found in my sig.

Wow near perfect answer for myself from your build thread, slight variation with the tire sizes, ill be running 235/40 all around, so a slightly higher sidewall, but should be minimal.
Thanks man! Great looking ride you got there

225/40 on a 8.5 is a slight stretch 235/40 would be more square but taller if you want ideal size that doesn't affect your speedo go with 235/35

when the time comes i will. Already reached out to you guys to help me get the springs and everything installed.

I'm probably going to hold off on the konis until i know im satisfied with the sportlines and i know for sure i wont be going to coils.

... and also a lot of money to be spent at once. but its on my list!

Yup yup, wear out the stockers first then upgrade to the konis :) Worst case you need to do the koni install earlier than expected.
