Aim Solo Data.....What Now???
In August I used a new Aim Solo to record laptimes at Roebling Road. Other than giving consistent fool proof real and predictive lap times, I really have little knowledge of the additional features. Below is a photo of the analytical data from one lap. The corners are misnumbered as the Solo combines 2 into 1 in several places. This is what I am able to decipher any addional perspective would be greatly appreciated.
- Top speed near the end of the straightaway was 120.4 mph and there is room for going deeper with stronger brakes as most of the deceleration occured in the green and I was not trail braking at all.
- The + is located near the exit of turn 9 (6) the car is traveling 96.3 mph and pulling 1.19 g's. Although I have the pedal floored from the carousel exit 7 (5) acceleration wanes through the final turn as lateral forces build.
- GPS slope is an indicator of track slope and a negative number indicates an off camber situation?
- 1.19 lateral G's was a consistent peak in nearly every turn, counter steering was in constant need even with the 245/40/17 V710's. This track gets extremely greasy and this lap occured mid afternoon in August full sun.
