It's not you...that's the Achilles heal of this car...the dash layout sucks and it looks like it's from about 10 years ago...especially the huge bare piece of silver plastic on the pass side...no logo, no texture...nuttin'...it looks like they ran out of time or money or both...or Subie interiors are just like that, dunno
...having said that, I'm still in...I can deal with it for all the other great things this car promises to be. They spent their time and money on the dynamics and performance...and I can deal with that...
oh and the other glaring issue that no one seems to have mentioned is no proper right arm rest...I've already got thoughts/plans to fix that somehow.

OH...and thanks for posting the review...AWESOME!

A lot of people were threatening to do it on this forum. I hope they read this article and come back to reality

"This is a sports car first and a fast car second - which is so refreshing to report". Love that quote!

What about the S2000? That was my sub-$30k (used with low miles) dream car for the past couple of years until I saw the BRZ. The BRZ is undoubtedly more practical with the bigger boot, back seat, interior goodies, and better fuel efficiency, but I wonder how the two stack up in terms of the fun-to-drive factor.

Having owned a S2000 & driven a NSX, I'd have to say IMHO, I'd rather prefer the NSX over the S2000; although, they are both close in terms of driving & fun factor.

I can't wait until my BRZ-L comes in. I want to drive the sucka NOW!

With a lower CG and wider useable power-band, I think the BRZ might edge the S2000 out. But it would be close. Hopefully a reviewer will do a BRZ vs older greats instead of currently-on-sale greats.
