Toe Arm: Is it a Must ?

Now I got a KW V3 and a Cusco LCA.

The alignment shop told me that I would need rear toe arms. The stock cam bolts to adjust the toe is not enough. And it would even be DANGEROUS without a toe arm.

I thought that a little bit toe in on the rear is ok right? got confused.
Can the toe be correct to 0 on the rear without those arms?

I am going to drop about 1''-1.2'', -2 f and -1.5 r camber.

:iono:

Running similar camber to your goals I was unable to zero out my toe. I actually was stuck with improper thrust angle. Toe out on one side, toe in on the other ...

Moral: buy toe arms

The CSG BRZ does not have any toe arms. Zero toe all around no problem...

I was able to get -1/16 toe per side with -1.2 degree camber with LCA so -1.5 should be possible. The more neg camber you will get more toe adjustment for the rear.

I'd rather lose by a mile because I built my own car,
than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book.

I'm on H&R super sports (about 1.5" in the rear), with about 2* neg camber on racerx lower control arms, and stock toe arms. My alignment shop was able to get toe to 0 on both ends without any issue.

I've got a toe kit from SPC performance but that requires pushing in their bushing into the existing toe arm as far I can tell.

lol thanks。the bolts on my old car was rust。I used WD40 and take me half a day to take them off。Building a car during college years is a good memory actually。

Correct.

Just saying there are alternatives. I might not even end up using them if you're at all interested in them.
