Australia's V-Sport is a company that specializes in track-day mods and a racing accessories. It's currently dabbling with the idea of building a highly modified Scion FR-S/Toyota 86 to showcase its wares.
At the heart of this potential project is a 325-hp 2.5-liter STI engine swap, a 1.5-way clutch-type limited-slip differential, short shifter and a heavy-duty clutch. But the biggest leap in lap times comes from a complete overhaul of the cars suspension and braking systems. Adjustable KW coil-overs together with upgraded bushings and stabilizer bars are a good start. Lightweight 18-inch TSW wheels are wrapped in Yokohama Advan AD08 rubber and surround larger 13.5-inch/13.0-inch discs clamped by six-piston/four-piston calipers -- all from renowned brake specialists AP Racing. AP Racing 600 high-temp fluid through Goodridge braided brake lines completes the system. |
Very nice! I like the tasteful upgrades.
