Installed JDM Exhaust Tip Photos
 

So I bought my car exactly one month ago, and immediately went about ricing it out. I ordered a set of JDM, or everywhere except USDM exhaust tips from Japanparts.com on 9/18, and they just arrived on my doorstep earlier this afternoon. I haven't seen anyone do anything more than completed install pictures, so here you go.

One side arrived with a couple of dents in it. It's not a huge deal since they're not visible while on the car, but still rather annoying considering the price. I've contacted Japanparts.com to see how they respond.

The tips just bolt on, so the entire thing takes like 5 minutes, if that. I spent more time uploading photos that I did putting them on. In any case, I'm happy with the result, minus the dents, and I think they're easily worth the upgrade if you don't plan on installing an aftermarket exhaust.

Looks great. I did the same thing. The USDM tips are definitely laughable.

Toyota should be embarrassed for themselves for for putting those stock tips on this car.

are those the stock exhaust tips from the JDM GT86?

any sound difference?

I have these on right now. no real sound difference. If you get within 4 feet of them you can hear a slight difference if your listening for it, but truthfully it basically just a upgraded look with no sound change.

Upgrade style with out upgrading cop attention :)

Yea, basically just wanted a better look while avoiding too loud of a noise and keeping away any chance of the dealer voiding any part of my warranty. I know the chances are slim with a cat back, but still don't want to deal with it if i can still get the look.

IMHO - its a great price for a nice cosmetic upgrade
