Feeler: Borla UEL Header - New - NorCal

I recently was the lucky winner of a Borla UEL header at a raffle for our Northern California driving club NorCal 86 Drive (proof in the link).

I haven't yet decided what path to take with this car at the moment so I thought I'd put up a feeler to see if anyone would be interested in this item.

$600 - New and unused with installation hardware and instructions included. That iconic Subaru burble has never sounded better! Weighs 10 lbs less than stock. (but wait there's more! Order today and get a sweet Borla logo vinyl sticker!)

I can post pics later but in the mean time, have a sweet stock photo.

you can't use it anywhere (legally atleast).

It takes away your cats, but that doesn't stop people from putting it on anyways.

Not sure if that's true in some of that states with lax emissions control. You could always keep your front pipe cat as well.

I am under the impression that there are several states (Florida? Nevada?...) where there are no emission controls or where the emissions tests are easy to pass.

@rainmonkey In CA, you wont have to deal with emissions for 3 years (or was it 5?) on a new car and by that time I'm sure you could find a test center that will work with you on getting you passed.

You're definitely not going to get pulled over for it unless you have an extreeeeeeeeeemely loud exhaust.

I am interested, but you definitely need to lower that price man. You can get it brand new for under $550.00.
