Hatch or Not?
 

Just wondering if people would prefer hatchback or not...

I would prefer a 2 seater hatchback just like my old CRX.

I think id prefer it as a 2+2 hatch.

I'd prefer whatever makes better sense from a performance point of view. It seems a coupe could be made stiffer because of the extra bracing behind the rear seats.

I said hatch, but only if they can use the current design. I know the current design is a standard trunk, but if it could be made into a hatch and still be stiff, then I would prefer the hatch because the hatch would make much better use of the space in the trunk and rear seats. It won't be the deal breaker for me though. I like the FT-86 as it is.

totally agree. The design remaining as close to this as possible must be a priority for any further developments between now and it's release.

I would hope for both! A trunk and a fastback option!

I like the hatch on my car, very versitile. It'd be nice to have one on the 86 but I wouldn't be crushed if it didn't have one.

For all the reasons that I've mentioned in every other thread: Hell mother f'ing yeah I want a hatch....but don't change the looks of the concept drastically.

Either works for me.... change into change, cool. kept it coupe, cool. Win win situation for me. lol

if it looks anything close to ichitaka's chop.. then i shall vote yes
