I need help from anyone with a Genesis sedan!!

I had to use my dad's car because I lent him my dad my frs, he wanted to drive it for a while and we don't see each other too often so yea. I unlocked the doors opened the trunk grabbed my water shut the trunk heard the fucking doors lock themselves and I had forgot the keys in the trunk. So now I'm locked out for a bit. Is there a way to open the car doors with those buttons on the door handles?? Its like the key fob is out of range in the trunk??? Wtf!! Help me! Ideas?
And of course my dad is dodging my calls because he wants to keep my car... Damnit lol

try unlocking the trunk the key should be in range. some of the better built cars have a fail safe key where if you lock it in the truck it will pop the trunk again and beep saying the key is in the trunk...unfortunately hyundai is a POS and cuts all these corners. But hey you have a 10 year warranty smh

This. My rs7 tc had keyless entry and would not lock if the keys were any where in the vehicle. It would even beep at you.

Honestly most cars made now are POS with corners being cut to save money on production costs. Cars arent solid anymore they are made to last 5ish years and 60-80k miles before shit starts to break. Even toyota/lexus isn't as reliable as they used to be.
