Good Place in the Chicago Land Area to Take Traction Control Off and learn sliding?

I am attempting to be safe while learning how to drive the car hard with traction control off. I need an area in the Chicago land area that is relatively low traffic and a lot of space to learn how to drive the car properly with traction control off. Obviously, I am no Tokyo Drifter nor do I have experience with real wheel drive cars since I had a 69 Mustang fastback with 350HP wherein I nearly killed myself and a few others at 16 (21 years ago). I am trying to be a little safer with this sort of thing.

Thanks for any suggestions!

(By the way, track days in Joliet aren't yet in the picture, I want to do some modifications prior to that and that may take me a few years to get to).

Roundabouts are awesome for this. Usually low traffic, especially at night, and lower speeds. They've been putting them all over the burbs of Indy, not sure if you have them by you.

There is 1 good one I can get to and Sunday nights around here are dead. I think I'll try that tomorrow!
