86/BRZ HI Cruise

Let's start planning for an October cruise!

Vote using the poll. We'll start with the date and time first and then go into more details later.

I didn't make an option for Friday because I think the preference for most would be to do the cruise some time during the weekend. But if you prefer the 25th, just choose Other.

Post any suggestions you have and start telling every 86/BRZ you know or see

I chose Saturday at 10:30am but I'm free anytime during the weekend.

FYI, I didn't add an option for a night cruise because I think it would be a lot easier to spot each other during the day. But if you want to do a night cruise instead post something!

I vote for Saturday only because Sunday is football but I'm down for either day and I prefer daytime for pictures and what not haha.

Either dates and times work for me but I voted for the Saturday @ 10:30.

Well, this is what i usually do with my friends when we go car cruising:
  • Meet up at 76 gas station on Keeamoku.
  • Go up Tantalus dark side, hit some corners (without going full retard) and then park at the bright side scenic point. Talk story, relax and take some pictures.
  • Drive through Waikiki and Diamond Head.
  • Drive through the Kahala strip.
  • Head to Koko Marina for coffee/lunch/snacks.
  • Drive to Sandy Beach (for that fun S-corner on the way there) and park by the beach park for a little while.
After that, we usually split, head back to town or continue circling the island counter clockwise for some matsumoto shaved ice.

I like this route...I voted Sunday due to thinking its better for traffic but I could do either day :)

That route looks pretty good.

I'm gonna have to change my vote for Sunday @1030 instead. Planning to attend the UH game on the Saturday.

Voted Sunday 10:30. The last Saturday I got to work for inventory.
