I could not be more pleased. :D The BRZ pricing is tearing the mushy indecisive people away, my order should come faster as a result, and I, as everyone knows, can not care less for nav and HIDs. :D Just an altogether awesome day. To say I can't stand the design of the BRZ is an understatement, the front end (to me, just a personal opinion) is butt ugly, and I just can't buy a Subaru, it makes me feel like an old man. My dad owned a Subaru. I should get my FR-S a month earlier than I expected! Everything tells me the FR-S will be better, better design, less weight, better suspension (for my driving) and less expensive.

If people back away from the brz wont they have a good chance of getting fr s which would make it harder for you to get one?

They won't, trust me :D And I know that. I'm just loving it though. See it's a priorities difference. I already have my other car with all that interior refinement crap. This is a sports car, the lighter, the more stripped (within reason) the better. But most people aren't me. Oh and the design of the BR-Z, it looks literally nothing like the the Toyota, that alone rules it out for me. Oh and less people on the roads driving my selection. Greatest day ever.

To say the BRZ looks nothing like the FR-S is a bit of an overstatement, nevermind the fact that the FR-S is made in a Subaru factory. Not to rain on your parade but we're all going to be driving what is essentially the same car. Claiming inane things like the FR-S has "better design" isn't going to make you a lot of friends around here. Also the BRZ RA is lighter, more stripped out, and less expensive than your FR-S. Sorry Americans.

I could retort that I think the FRS front end looks like someone took a saw and some black gutter-guard to the bumper opening, but I won't... Oh, wait, I already did. To each his own, and hence why we have options, thankfully! You'll be happy with yours and I'll be happy with mine!

We don't need (or tolerate) any hatred of other models here (going both ways).
