I know I'll get laughed at. But the no automatic, however understandable that is, makes me sad. Do want this car. Do want hard.

Edit: Louis's article mentions a dual-clutch. Want.

"Anyway, you can have a six-speed manual shifter in the retro-modern Mustang interior, or a dual-clutch automatic"

Hahaha I've been seeing this on all the forums, overall consensus is ...um it costs $250,000? Seriously

For that price, I'll have one of these instead:

Seems kinda generic and derivative looking to me. There's nothing wrong with how it looks, but at the same time, nothing really stands out. Except the price tag, $250,000 good god.

Interesting.. I've never seen two clutches in a duel. Should be interesting! :confused0068:

I was excited, so sue me haha.

The price tag does depress me. I like that it's a 'classic' but brand new. I've become a fan of Eleanor recently and I'd take this over her any day just because it's new and different. But that price tags it impossible.

Boner on wheels.

Anybody interested to see what happens when Hyundai gets word of someone else using the Equus name for a car?

https://www.hyundaiusa.com/equus/

Nevermore 09-25-2013 10:17 PM

To be fair, Equus isn't the name of the car, it's the brand. I don't think Hyundai can argue with that.

Looks like a car in a video game that couldn't get the manufacturer's official licenses, so they just hybrided a new Challenger and old Mustang.

I can appreciate the end result, but I'm not really a big fan of it. If I wanted a new classic, I'd do my own restomod. Something like Vaughn Gittin Jr's RTR-X.
