Heated mirrors
 

I mentioned this in the DIY request area and there were no comments so here it goes again.
How difficult is it to retrofit heated side mirrors on an FR-S? I know they are an available option, so the pieces exist. Is the wiring in place and it is as simple as replacing the mirrors or does it require running wiring to the door?
Any of you who tore their doors apart to sound deaden them happen to notice if there were extra wires going to the mirrors?

I just spoke to a tech at the nearest dealer and he is "pretty sure" the FR-S is not pre-wired for the heating elements so a retrofit would be real work. Oh well.
