Price went up to $15 yesterday. Consider it an extra $5 donation. Never been to this park before but it's supposed to be beautiful. I'm thinking about arriving a littler earlier and going on a quick 1-2hr morning hike. Let me know if you want to join. But I don't blame anyone for sleeping in :)

It's a great park. I was talking to someone about it today and he mentioned that you can rent a boat to take out on the lake for really cheap... something that will hold like 6 people and you could in theory keep it out all day, and we could all chip in and take turns going around the lake in it. I told him, we will probably stay concentrated near the parking lot.

As with most events, the price increases as the event gets closer. This is so that the event organizers can move quickly to accommodate more people that decide to show up last minute.

Yeah, the boat rentals are pretty cool. I go fishing there all the time. The platoon easily fits 6 ppl! I can't wait. This is my first meet

Santa Clara County was raising some issues.

Exactly. The county all of a sudden wanted permits due to vendors and there was no guarantee of getting them processed In time. Plus that would be an extra cost I'm sure.
