We'll have to come up with an interesting sobriety check process before you can drive. But yeah the best option if you want to drive with us, is no beer before.

I hope that I didn't come off as a booze hound. ;) I only asked b/c the grille duties were partially on me. That, and to get a feel for this group of enthusiasts, since each group presents their own set of norms.

Dont worry eric, it wasn't only you who asked for beer last april.

Actually it's a new park rule. They now allow beer or champagne. Last time, a special permit was needed for those. Now it's free :) so i cant stop anyone from bringing some if they really want to.

LOL no Eric, I totally knew how you felt, when you were working that hot BBQ grill and said, "a cold beer would've been great right now".

Cool cool. Can you also fill that up with ice before you get to the park?
:)

maybe it's too late, but i had another idea:

a table for bartering of goods and services.

i'm sure plenty of people have various parts that they want to get rid of. people can bring their stuff to the meet and sell it there. we could have a table where they can just write down what they have and anyone looking to buy stuff or get help can check the table to see who has what.

a few examples:
- someone has a perrin pulley that they no longer want, they can just sell it at the meet. or vice versa if someone is looking for one then they can check the list for it.

- someone has vinyl and want to wrap a part of their car, but don't have the expertise or are too scared to try. they can ask for help. and vice versa someone that is willing to help vinyl something can put down that they'd be happy to help someone to do it.

as some people know, i like to bring my laptop/tablet and do ecu changes for people at meets. i'll probably be doing it again, but i know that i don't/can't reach that many people other than the one or two random people i manage to talk to and mention that i can do it for them.

again this is just an idea. maybe we can implement it next time, but i think it could be really useful for people. it would also give people another way to mingle and get to know each other. just saying!
