ABS and Traction lights come on while driving (video)
Here is a video of the ABS and Traction lights coming on as I am driving.
It can come on randomly, but i was able to reproduce it on uneven corners. Here im driving up my office building garage in 2nd. I have also gotten this in 6th on the freeways. When i turn the car off and back on the lights will usually be off. However, tonight when i turned the car on to head home, the ABS and Traction lights came on with the car. First time this has happened. When the lights come on, i can feel no difference in driving tho. Has anyone else run into this issue? EDIT: Also the 3rd brake lights (on the rear window) seems to come on as well. the lights in the 3rd brake light are "dim" and when i brake they get brighter. also, i dont know if this makes a difference, but i have a 4th brake light kit that is tapped into the left brake light. Different sized wheels/tires? Strange...

its on stock tires

Check your ABS sensor wires. I'm betting one may be chewed up

Take it to the dealer. You have a video as proof. You have a warranty for a reason.

yea i will be taking it in this weekend.
they couldnt reproduce it last time so they asked if i can get some video so they can have proof when they contact subaru. when they hooked up my car, they said the logs showed no errors or warnings at all. |
I have the forth brake light installed 2 days ago and today that same thing happened to me.... It has to be something with the light thing. I too installed it off my left taillight....

i found that the Black wire that was tapped was loose.
check all your connections and make sure they aren't loose. |
