Vampire taps should do it. I didn't solder anything.

What you mean?? Can you help me:respekt:

SPCorBUST 05-11-2014 05:27 AM

Well the way I have it is where the V is on with parking lights, the middle light comes on with braking but does not flash. I didn't want that. If you want the F1 flashing, you might do it a bit differently.

You can see in post #6 what the vampire taps look like. Been running it since that day, zero issues.

So you connected it to the car's wires not the tail lights right?

SPCorBUST 05-13-2014 01:28 PM

Not sure I know what you mean?

So, mine doesn't come with the extra blue wire and it seems my light is mapped differently... Anyone know how to follow post #22 with my setup?

Thanks again for the DIY. Works flawlessly. Here is the video on mine after the mod:

Hey guys, i opened up my reverse light to do the rewiring for v on with park lights, triangle with flashing on braking, and normal reverse. But my wiring is slightly different than what some previous poster showed. My red and orange wire are flipped. How should i proceed?

This is what i ended up doing. Haven't tested yet. But i believe it is right.

The wiring above worked for me for others references.

ANTLAY 10-26-2014 01:26 AM

OK,so I think I messed up... By unplugging all my connector's b4 I started the rewiring process. My light was just like the one above.. Any help? One is obvious since it has two females and one male coming from the light, the other 2 not sure

blackfireball5 10-26-2014 05:42 AM
