Possibly the ugliest body kit/color combo in Japan
 

Just checking prices for used 86's here in Japan (not that I'm seriously in the market for one), and stumbled upon this monstrosity:

and they want ¥3,480,000 (aprox $35,000) for it!

I like the rims, rear diffuser, and exhaust, but that front bumper looks like a Hyundai Genesis bodykit intended to make the Genesis look like an R35 GT-R. Somehow it got lost on its way to Korea and wound up on a Toyota. And the wing is just awkward (wings can be done tasefully on this car, but this isn't one).


What say you?

Okinawa. I was stationed there exactly forty years ago. I loved it. If I wasn't a homesick kid I think I could have stayed there forever. I was US Coast Guard and was stationed at an electronics monitoring station on the north east coast. It was a pretty primitive area then. I have looked at Google maps and the whole island has changed so much that I almost do not recognize anything. The wife and I have talked about traveling back there.

the sides are doable the wheels are nice don't like the color of them. the rest is too much

Side skirts VERY similar to STI ones.

Ive seen worse, that color doesnt help.

The grill looks like it belongs to a lancer. Other than the fromt bumper, i kind of like it..

Don't like the color but think the body kit is ok.

My brother just got to Okinawa this week, joined the Air Force in January and Kadena is his first duty station.

Well, picture looks overexposed, I bet the red looks much better in person.

Call me crazy, but I think it's gorgeous.

It has just the right amount of over the top to be perfect for me. But then again, I enjoy crazy flashy stuff.
