lost throttle while driving in 6th

So i was in 6th at 2k rpm when the the throttle cut out, my rpms starting falling slowly.
i pressed the accelerator but nothing happened. there was just a really low muted hum and felt a bit heavy. rpms kept dropping.
so i popped it into neutral and revved it again.
this time it revved
so i went into 4th and it picked up again.

this is the first time it has happened. 3.4k mileage
Also, my ABS and Traction yellow lights were on.
they would sometimes pop up as im driving, has been like this for 2weeks.

Im going in tommorrow for an oil change/ crickets/ the abs lights/ and now that throttle thing.

scared me for a sec when i lost the power.
has this happened to anyone?
Or does anyone know what could have caused it?

Never had this problem in my brz but i experienced a similar problem with my 2012 wrx and the dealer did some ecu update that fixed it..hope this helps

Sounds like the car thought you lost traction=no power for you. Ecu might be to sensitive to something.

If that happens to anyone, take it to the dealer immediately. Don't wait around for it to happen again!
