License Plate Help
For some reason when I bought my car, the license plate was already drilled to the front bumper. I really want to get a license plate holder that is going to be placed where the tow hook is located. I don't want to have to black holes of the bumper. Any ideas to cover that up? I was considering buying plugs..

Probably done because your state requires 2 licence plates and as such dealers are legally obligated to provide mounts for both. Edit: Instead of searching for more solutions and continuing prior discussions: https://www.google.com/search?q=ft86...w.ft86club.com |

so sad that your dealership is stupid enough to go ahead and do that for you.
i live in California, which requires me to have both front and back license plate. but my dealership did the smart thing, and let me (the customer) decide what to do with it. hope the plug works out for you! |
@strat61caster - I live in California, where front plate is 'required' and No holes were drilled into my front bumper. My front plate mount was detached and still in the trunk, which makes me happy because I would never drill holes into the bumper for the same reason @Kelbyat07 doesn't want his.
It is too bad that happened to you. Perhaps there is a solution by filling in the holes of the bumper - similar to how a house's walls get patched up? |
