Subaru BRZ Front License Plate

Hey everyone, just got my BRZ a month ago, and I wanted to ask what everyone did with their front license plate? Did you use the factory mount, :barf: get a car tow hook mount, or decided not to mount it on and risk it?

*I hear meter maids are even allowed to give fix it tickets for not having a front license plate.:thumbdown:

If you have no front plates and your car is parked, the cops and metermaids can give you a ticket for it. If you are driving, cops will even pull you over. Driving in California s*cks for drivers.

I actually have my front license plate frame mount for sale. I have not used it, brand new -- I'll PM you if you want it.

I've seen a FRS who placed their front plate behind the grill. Not sure if that's legal.

I use the Grimmspeed tow hook mount. I've seen a pretty ingenious way of using the stock mount with strong magnets though, you put magnets on the inside of your bumper and then it's easy to place/remove the plate as needed.

I'm going to be doing the no-holes/magnet approach. I work in a police station and they bugged me a lot when I got my last car, mostly the meter maids though.

you have to remove the bumper first though to get the magnets inside correct? I just ordered the tow hook mount on the massdrop GB thread.

Do you have a picture of it installed? I was thinking of doing that.

I didn't put mine on, ruins the look of the front end!

I bought a grimspeed mount before I even had my car :P
