Valenti 3rd brake light wiring

I just installed the light, but I can't seem to de-pin the middle blue wire on the connector. :mad0259: Does anyone have any tips on how to get it out? I'm a bit paranoid of messing up the harness (if I haven't already)

I thought I could get away with just plug and play, but that doesn't seem the case. Looks like you have to de-pin regardless...? :bonk:

In-person assistance from a local thats done this before is cool (and preferred) too. Like I said, I'm paranoid... lol. Happy to bring some beers over as payment!

yeah, it doesn't make sense to have the harness look plug and play but yet you need to de-pin it and do whatever. just let that pin come unpinned and save me the time, geez.

@ric342 were you able to get this figured out? I was finally able to de-pin the connector and wire it up. To get it to work they way I wanted to though, I had to crack it open and unplug a connector, cut and tap a wire... Now the light bar and triangle work separately though as a parking light and brake light.

I was able to link the wires and then run the switch trough the opening that the oem wires run, so now the switch is in the trunk, ill post pics asap.
