Seatbelt nag

Like my other car, I had to disable this, though on this BRZ I don't have or know anybody with the cable I can borrow.

Is there anybody in the Markham/Richmond area that has this and knows how to disable the nag?

...You could just wear your seatbelt. The added advantage is it could save your life. :)

Um yes I'm well aware of that.

Try sitting in the car working on something where the car needs to be on and the thing keeps on beeping or something heavy on the passenger seat other than a person.

the passenger side has that fancy elector magnetic sensory thingy. weight means nothing.

i've also heard u can techstream it out or visit a dealer (unconfirmed dunno if they'll do that for u)

Just clip the seat belt into the buckle then.

Yeah exactly, this is really easy to solve...

husband bought a techstream ripoff off of ebay

he changed the passenger seat beeping, and the way the doors lock/unlock (can't remember what it was originally, but if I click once all doors lock/unlock) and trunk to two clicks to unlock instead of hold
there's other minor stuff that can be changed, but not too many options

Yeah I'm just going to get one of those myself.
