What is the difference between a Front pipe, a down pipe and an over pipe?

I currently have a TRD Catback exhaust and I am not sure what the difference between these are. Educate me please and tell me what the best possible set up would be

Because of how low the boxer is mounted in our cars they had to route the exhaust in front of the motor and up and around the front steering rack. I think this is what really causes all the routing headache.

So I have the 80mm Tomei titanium exhaust on order, and I'm getting the Full Blown turbo kit hopefully soon here.

I believe the kit comes with a downpipe, but I assume it's exit is at the stock position?

So I still need an overpipe, and a front pipe, correct?

A lot of vendors on here are calling the front pipe and over pipe a "downpipe"

If it is not for a turbo car, look up the part number and see if you can get an actual illustration to identify what they are talking about.
