clicking/tapping noise when shifting semi hard

ok so i've noticed this since the car was new, not sure if i'm just going crazy or if there is something wrong

when i shift quickly, and am on the gas right as i shift, i'm hearing a metal tap, or click, almost sounds like i can hear the throttle body open up all the way or something. i can also hear it sometimes in neutral(manual car) if you tap the gas fairly hard and quick(not all the time in neutral)

the sound is coming from under the hood, that i can tell, but i cant seem to figure out why, this is the only thing i can come up with that it could be. anyone else have this issue also? i'm taking my car in sat morning to have them fix the passenger speaker rattle so i'm thinking maybe mention this to them while i'm there. though on the other hand the service guy there seemed to barely know what an FRS was, when i mentioned crickets, his response was "oh i dont know we haven't sold many FRS' yet" and tried to play it off like there was no known issues with the car until i told him i've read the TSB.......:iono:

Good luck with that. Like many cars, both of my doors window switches rattle. The dealer wouldn't fix it, said it was normal.

my rattle in the door is caused by the speaker, they already said they'd check it out and see what the problem is, i'm just wondering if i should even mention this, or if its even anything wrong, or just normal operation

the thing i have going for me is my best friend is the finance manager, along with being friends with the GM, sales manager and a few salesman

sounds like the throttle tip-in knock...see the thread about DI systems blowing seals.
