Transfering an unused Visconti tune to a new owner?

I've searched, but haven't found a solid answer... will @Visconti transfer an unused tune to a new person and give the new owner updates in the future?

I found an unused cable/license/tune but don't want to buy it if I have to re buy the tune.

Anyone know for sure?

Only he can answer that question as it is completely his discretion to do it.

Need to also check with ECUtek to make sure the license was never transferred to the other cars ECU. If it was connected only once, the license is transferred then and there.

Has Visconti gone totally MIA from here? I PM'd Rich about it and tagged John here.

I have no concerns about the license, the seller already offered up flashing it to my car before taking money to prove that everything was unused.

Your best bet would be to have the owner of the tune/license submit a ticket through Visconti's support ticket system.

Just a question on the side, not to thread jack, but if I have an ECUtek cable and license that has never been used, can that be resold? I received a cable and license as a gift, and might not be going that route after all. I never purchased a tune, nor has the ECUtek box been opened.

The box has never been opened....I think youll be okay to sell it.

As long as the license has never been applied to an ECU, you can totally sell it.

10-4, thank for the fast replies!

They havent logged in in about a week or more.

Rev up those tags.

Licence and cable are fine as long as they havent been used on another car.
Tune and support is entirley up to Visconti. However i would say steer clear. Get your car tuned on a dyno, it's worth it.

At this point--who would want the liability?...

Liability of what?? Are you referring to the issue with the flex fuel kits and fires? That has exactly nothing to do with a flash tune.
