Motion to change emoticon name

Does it bother anyone that :happy0180: is called by "happy0180" instead of "cheers"?

Cmon. It should be the "cheers" emoticon!

Anthony 09-18-2013 10:43 AM

What is the significance of "0180"?

There are more than 180 ways to be happy. I just want them to add a :shifty: emoticon.

And a  would be nice as well.

We should use meme's for everything instead of emoticons

picard facepalm meme is so appropriate sometimes

Keep it on-topic guys! Once we institute this change, we can perhaps begin discussion regarding other serious emoticon issues.

One must understand, not having the emoticon named "" is a detriment to the easy use of this site, impacting our hundreds if not thousands of users.

My overall internet experience has been adversely affected.

Keep in mind that for every user that complains, a million are offended. So according to this thread...

*busts out the ti83*

7 million users have been offended as a result of this emoticon.

That's almost ten million!

Anthony 09-26-2013 10:27 AM

You can't argue with a TI83. I'm offended it had to come to this.

We're getting less attention than the Australia/New Zealand sub-forum issue, and that's like 10 guys between the two sub-forums!!
