Usdm foglight questions?

I'm Installing the new scion foglight kit and I seem to be having a problem clipping in the new fog bezels. In the directions it has you install these rubber clips on the actual bumper then press the bezels on. But I'm not sure how forceful I should be and all the DIY guides are showing people not even using the rubber clips. But if I don't use them the bezel feels loose. Has anyone encountered this problem yet? Thanks

Use them. They do clip in and fit snug in the bumper. Make sure they are facing the right way when you install the clips. They should snap in and a couple take a little force. Do not worry about the small gap on the fog lights. That is normal with these. I was paranoid about that part and thought I was doing something wrong. These don't sit flush.

Wow thanks I couldn't find any info about those and yea I took those L and R brackets on and off a dozen times trying to figure out why I had a gap between the bezel and lamp. Maybe they do that to keep the heat from melting the bezel. Who knows.

That and cracking. I'm using 6000k LED's so they stay relatively cool and match my HID's. I got some 6000k turn signals and had one of the pins clipped on it so the turn signals aren't on along with the fog lights because it would have been way too bright. I just run the fogs full time at night. Looks great.

Would it be easier to install the bezels with the bumper on the car?

I've installed these yesterday and I was wondering why there was a big gap compared to the JDM ones, I was like hmm maybe I did something wrong, but I guess not haha. but the bezel was easy to snap on, just have 1 hand inside the bumper where u took over the cover at the bottom and push out while you push the bezel in, use some force it won't break =P

They dont sell it in canada. But in the states they have it in the dealers. I paid around 460 shipped to canada on ebay but I've seen Americans get them for as low as 350 out the door

Late to this party, but I'm pretty sure I was putting mine in the wrong way. The picture/explanation in the Toyota installation instructions is a little lacking in my opinion. It said have the "pointed feature" facing the outside of the opening. I originally took that to mean the outside of the opening that each individual clip goes into. So you can see the "pointed feature" -- but that wasn't working well for me. Now, I'm guessing it means the outside of the opening that the bezel covers...which puts the "pointed feature" to the inside of the openings in the bumper that the clip goes into.

Of course, I might go out and do that and still have no luck. I dunno.

EDIT: So I flipped them around, and I think overall it seems to be better, but I still have 1 on each side that refuse to snap in place. The skinny section on the upper/inner curve doesn't want to snap in on either side. It doesn't poke out too bad, but it might drive me crazy.
